Not as hands on action as the first but still a delight. Cooch is older and maybe an 1/8 of a second slower but still "The Baddest Mother##**%%=" on the planet. His attempts to change Islam for good are Audacious and beautiful. Can't wait for next book, this is a series that really needs to be read in order to fully appreciate.Product details

I got the first book in this series for free recently and read it. I gave it 3 stars, mostly for the implausible nature of what the story portrayed.
At the end of the book, my app conveniently noted that I already owned book 2 in the series and prompted me to go to it. Turns out it was free a year or so ago. I had downloaded it but never read it, so having nothing better to do today, I read it.
It is another book with little plausibility. That is really important to me in a story. So despite a few good parts, it just does not cross the line into being a good or great book for me. But, it was still an OK read. Just nothing special.
It continues the line that Cooch and his girlfriend are smarter and stronger than anyone else. The things they are depicted as doing don't make any real sense for someone that is especially bright.
In this installment, Cooch has taken over the Bedouin enterprise left for him by his grandfather. His GF has created some kind of software that not only predicts terrorist actions, but can train Muslims in modern education for 5 cents a day. I kid you not, that was the claim.
At one point it got so absurd that the widow of a dead employee insists Cooch have sex with him so she can have his baby, while claiming it as her dead husband's.
It is even better than his first book- COOCH. It is exciting, fun and thought provoking about Notional Security, threats to the USA, ideas about Muslims and Islam. Cooch, the main charcter, lives an exciting life of spying, fighting, killing bad guys but still has time for sex with beautiful and super intelligent girls along the way. Bob believe there is an answer to our current terrorist threats, which I have neer heard before. Bob may have the only long term answer, but you will have to read the book to find out.
I really enjoyed the book and I look forward to the next book about Cooch.

Very good character development and lots of action. This was a bit of a lighter read than Cooch, but no less enjoyable.
I like this hero (Cooch) and I like the series, but thought the first book (COOCH) was slightly better. I didn't think the new characters rang as true as the characters in the first book. Nevertheless, I still plan to read the third book (PULSE) in the series!
Unlike the first book the character of Cooch is raised to near super human status which makes the read sometimes difficult to accept. Overall the book was fast paced and kept your attention. Hopefully the future installments of the series have Cooch as more of a great operator and not a comic book character
Well developed plot involving national security. Some deep conversations on how to deal with Muslim countries. Interesting stories with interesting characters .
